Head Chair and Co-Chair “Lisa Lee” and Marcus Arneaud are spearheading this year’s gala along with WPLG Anchor/Reporter Constance Jones as the Emcee and Event Coordinator Ana Vento of Events by Vento Designs. This exciting and fun-filled evening will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by dinner, dancing, a tribute ceremony and entertainment. Most importantly, it will be a celebration of what the HSF has already accomplished and of our incredible plans for the future!
Funds raised through individual and corporate donations will be used to further research into the food/mood connection in children and adults as well as to finance studies into the correlation between hypoglycemia & diabetes and hypoglycemia & alcoholism.

About The Hypoglycemia Support Foundation, Inc.
The Hypoglycemia Support Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation founded in 1980 to increase awareness of the causes, effects and latest treatment of reactive hypoglycemia (also known as low blood sugar) and to show how poor diet and nutritional deficiencies affect one’s emotional and physical health at home, work and in personal relationships. The HSF was founded by Roberta Ruggiero, a hypoglycemic who was misdiagnosed for 10 years. Finally, a Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT) identified hypoglycemia, and a simple DIET change managed her symptoms and turned her life around! She now inspires and gives hope to hypoglycemics around the world through her organization and book, The Do’s and Don’ts of Hypoglycemia: An Everyday Guide to Low Blood Sugar. The HSF offers community outreach through support groups, seminars and workshops as well as through their website, www.hypoglycemia.org.
